Kilcoskan Pupils giving to Charity!

THE CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL

This past year has been difficult in Ireland, but in many parts of the world, children live in poverty every day of their lives. Your simple act kindness can bring love and hope into the bleakest of situations! Your shoe box will make a child feel special and valued, and let them know that you care about them. Choosing gifts, filling and wrapping a shoe box is fun and teaches us a lot about giving – especially when we know these gifts are going to be used and treasured for years to come. We will deliver your gift- filled shoebox right into the hands of a needy child in Eastern Europe or Africa. Here in Kilcoskan we collect shoe boxes , filled with toys, clothes [new].18 /11/10 is the last date.
  • What’s the shoebox appeal in Kilcoskan all about?
