Dear Parents / Guardians,
Our pupils are now well
settled back into school after the Easter holidays. With all of our action
packed lessons, tours and activities the school year seems to have flown by up
to this point and as we start into our third term, it promises to be even
busier! Here are just some of the school events scheduled for this term:
- · Sacraments of First Communion (19th May 2013) and Confirmation (11th June 2013)
- · Summer school tours
- · Sports Day
- · Standardized testing
- · Summer Disco
- · Football & hurling leagues / blitz & Joe Crowe Cup
- · New after school activities
- · Summer Fair
- · Information / Induction morning for new intake junior infants.
- · New Green Flag celebrations (hopfully!!!)
The following are some other
updates / pieces of information to keep in mind as we begin our final school
term of the year:
- · School building project: We continue to work closely in partnership with the Department of Education and our professional advisers to confirm a start date for the building of our school extension / development. More detailed information on this matter will be provided in due course.
- · Final swimming session: tomorrow Friday 12th April 2013.
- · There are 2 after school classes remaining for pupils in our card-making group scheduled for next week and the week after.
- · This term’s after school activities timetable to be provided next week. Note that football training stays on Thursdays and hurling training is on Wednesdays.
- · Please return any remaining Trocaire Boxes to school by Monday 15th April at the latest.
