A big thank you to Jim from the Education Department of Dublin Zoo who visited our school today. He brought all sorts of cool animal props with him including a stuffed turtle, some bones and a giant elephant's foot! Fear not however as no animals were harmed in the making of the day's lessons - all the animal props were donated to the zoo long ago, when people were less enlightened about animals' rights. Nowadays, we all realise that animals are to be protected and celebrated - which is just what Jim helped us to do today!
