Information for Parents of Pupils preparing for First Holy Communion

Dear Parents of 2^nd class pupils,

Best wishes to all our 2^nd class pupils who are making their First Holy Communion this Sunday in St.Margaret’s Church. The ceremony begins at 11am.  Communicants must be seated in the church by 10.40am.

There will be room on the pues (church seats) for your child and 3 others (parents / guardians / siblings etc.). All other guests will be directed to sit in the pues towards the back of the church.

Des the photographer will be taking pictures in the small garden across from the main entrance after the ceremony. The church has informed us that parents may not take any photographs in the church during the ceremony.

Light refreshments will be available in St.Margaret’s Hall (beside the priest’s house) after the ceremony.

School is open as normal on Monday – Communicants may wear in or bring in their Communion clothes for an assembly parade. Thanks to all the teachers, parents, helpers and choir who have put lots of work into the preparations – it promises to be a lovely day.
