  • ·        Infant yard: We are revamping our back yard play area for junior pupils. This involves the creation of activity zones and the purchase of some fun equipment. If you have any old scooters, plastic sand pits, play-houses or other large, outdoor all weather toys that need a new home we would be delighted to take them off your hands!
  • ·        Reminder: All pupils should have a small hand-towel for hygienic hand drying.
  • ·        This Friday in preparation for the All Ireland football finals we will have a school county Jersey Day. For €2, pupils may wear a county jersey of their choosing. If pupils don’t have a GAA county jersey, they can wear a top the color of their home county.  Money raised will go towards upgrading our senior yard – which is next on the list!
  • ·        Wed. 25th September is Finglas Garda Station Open Day: All 6th class pupils will have free transport to and from Finglas Garda Station for a guided tour and talk.
  • ·        Friday 27th September GAA Blitz: 5th class are invited to participate again in the Finglas Community GAA Blitz, run by the Gardai. Transport to and from Erin’s Isle GAA pitches will be provided on the day.
  • ·        Parents Association AGM: to be held at the end of this month / early October. Date to be confirmed.
  • ·       Keep in touch with all the goings on in Kilcoskan NS by checking out www.kilcoskan.com regularly!
