Here is a list of the super extra curricular activities which we are delighted to have on offer for your child this term in Kilcoskan N.S. Even more exciting activities will be on offer to our pupils next term!
Mondays: Treading the Boards...it’s the Kilcoskan Drama Workshops!
(Starting Monday 1st November 2010)
Who can join? All pupils 1st - 4th Class
Time: 2.40pm - 3.40pm, runs for 6 consecutive weeks.
Tuesdays: Fighting Fit...Kilcoskan Gaelic Football Training:
(Started Tuesday 28th September 2010)
Who can join? All pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Class
Time: 2.40pm - 3.40pm, runs through to end of term.
Wednesdays: Rock On!!! The Kilcoskan Guitar Classes:
(Starting Wednesday 3rd November 2010)
Who can join? 10 pupils in 3rd & 4th Class, (Any more than 10 pupils is impractical for learning guitar in one class. If more than 10 pupils want to join, 10 names will be picked from a hat).
Time: 2.40pm- 3.40pm, runs for 6 consecutive weeks.
Note: Pupils from 5th & 6th Class will be invited to learn guitar in classes to be held next term. In the final term, the star performers will be invited to form the first ever Kilcoskan Rock Band!!!
Thursdays: Thinking Caps at the Ready...It’s the Kilcoskan Maths Club:
(Starting Thursday 4th November 2010).
Who can join? Open to all pupils in 5th & 6th Class
Time: 2.40pm - 3.40pm, runs for 6 consecutive weeks.
I am very grateful to our fantastic, energetic staff who agree to provide all of these after school activities to your child entirely free of charge and in an entirely voluntary capacity. Therefore, pupils who sign up for after school activities will be expected to attend all classes and to behave excellently.
